Don't be afraid to take a minute for yourself. I feel like too many DMs feel like they have to be constantly pushing forward, sometimes you just need to take a moment to really consider your next move. Drink water. Don't get discouraged, no one starts great. The best DMs learn from their mistakes. Even after all the time I have spent DMing, I am still learning new ways to improve myself.
